Pet care experience
Dogs are part of the family, and deserve to be treated as such. I have always enjoyed taking care of not only family pets, but also pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I've taken care of all size doggos, from mini schnauzers to greyhounds, yorkies to great danes. I've had experience training and am comfortable continuing or enabling whichever household practices you may go by. I have also had a significant amount of experience with providing medicinal care to dogs, both oral and injected, as I used to have a diabetic pup. We do have two dogs in our home (one Corgi/Chihuahua mix -18lbs, and one Shephard/Retriever mix - 45lbs). For any dogs that might come for doggy daycare or overnight boarding, I would just require a meet and greet with the pups first.

My pup Nora had such a great time at Julianne’s today! Julianne is very much a dog-person who just “gets” dogs and knows how to help put them at ease. Nora had a blast running around her fenced-in yard and napping the day away. I really appreciated how responsive Julianne was when setting up today’s daycare and can’t wait to bring Nora back for another day soon. Thank you Julianne!
Julianne was wonderful! She updated us with pictures both days we were gone and let us know how our dog was doing. You could also tell that are pup missed while we were away but not too overly excited to when we got home, as a dog sitter myself, that means she spent enough time with our dog to give it enough exercise but also took time to hang out with him and make him comfortable.
Julianne was our first Rover.com sitter and was fantastic! She was very professional at our Meet and Greet and was very responsive as we set up the details for the weekend. While we were away, she was very responsive, sent lots of photos of DaVinci, and we came home to a tired pup after a weekend of fun! Clearly he was in great hands while we were away. We are looking forward to having Julianne stay with us again soon!
Julianne did an awesome job checking in on our 4 month old Bernese pup! She sent several pictures and videos each time which comforted us that he was in good hands.

Our home has a fenced in backyard that is primarily grass. We don't take more than one pup per day for doggy daycare, as our 'rainy/snowy day' alternative space is just inside our home. Whilst staying with us, your pups would be treated as a member of the family!

I have no breed preferences; big and small, I love them all. That said, if your pup is particularly anxious or has any behavioral specificities you'd like to share beforehand, I appreciate the heads up.
A typical day
Note to Pet Parents : Given the current state of things, I am not comfortable taking pups to the dog park. Once we have more information regarding the mystery virus, this policy may change. I very much enjoy walking, particularly checking out the state park trails, finding nature walks, or beachfront boardwalks! Playing, snuggling, or just hanging out for the company - your pets will not feel lonely or isolated.
