Pet care experience
My specialty is puppies - after raising a few and spending a year with a daycare client, I enjoy the energy of young pups and helping them gain structure and socialization. Over the past few years I’ve had the pleasure to take care of pups of all breeds — from chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees. I understand that every dog has individual needs that may not be provided at a typical kennel and seek to provide comfort, fun, and safety for your pet while you are away. Our two resident dogs are very friendly but of vastly different energy levels, so we have a playmate for the older or calmer dogs as well as those who are constantly on the go (and need a friend who can match their energy level). Dogs are up to date on all shots and we ask that yours has an updated rabies and bordetella vaccine — exceptions, of course, if they are too young to receive them, as we’ve had puppies as young as 10 weeks stay with us. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at any time. At this time, I am only accepting dogs under 75 pounds. Dogs must be OK with people for everyone’s safety.
Reviews
Julianna Did a great job with my boy Zeus. When we first met, I didn't think this would be a good pairing. Zeus is a big, over energetic dog. I thought that Julianna, wouldn't be able to maintain such a large dog with high drive. Boy was I was I wrong. Julianna gave him the space and care he needed, fed him according my My schedule given, and gave him all the comfort and play time he could receive. Zeus cried when it was time to go. Julianna, did a good job of sending me photos 2 times a day so I could see how my boy was doing. She even extended his stay by an extra day while I had to work out of town. Julianna seems very flexible. Overall great interaction, good communication, and affordable. I will definitely make her a regular sitter for my boy. No questions asked.
We only book Julianna for our Latte. His always excited to see her and treat him like his part of her family. We thank you always
Zoey always loves to go to Julianna's when I drop her off. Gets excited in the driveway. She takes great care of Zoey.
Julianna always takes great care of Zoey.

I have a large yard with multiple leash runners for your pets enjoyment and safety. I offer flexible care methods depending on your pet’s individual needs. Active, hands-on dogs will have their chance to explore, and quiet or older dogs will have all the pampering and relaxation they’d like.

Information Julianna V. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how friendly your pet is with strangers so I can strategize how best to care for them. Are they crate-trained? This isn't required for the stay, but some dogs prefer the crate. Additionally, if your dog strictly cannot be around other pets or children.
A typical day
Weather permitting, we take frequent walks along the C&O canal. At home, we have a splash pool for the dogs to cool off and plenty of trees to rest and nap under while outside. In the evening, the dogs will be in a climate controlled space for plenty of cuddles and play before bedtime. As for the winter months, we keep our outdoor time brief (though every dog loves a quick run around in the snow!) and make sure to increase indoor playtime and stimulation.

I work from home as a graduate assistant part time and online, which means that my schedule is always open, and the dogs will always have someone around.
