I would like to know what your dog's daily routine is and what level of exercise fits them best. Please let me know how your dog behaves around other dogs (small dogs, large dogs, puppies). It would be good to know if your dog is allowed treats, and if they have any medications or allergies. I have given oral medication to dogs before, so I'm comfortable doing that if your pup needs it. I'm ok sitting dogs of any size or breed. I would love to take care of your dog, and Todd loves having a friend around too! :) It's probably best to do a meet and greet first, so let me know if you would like to arrange one!

If your dog stays with me, you can expect that I'll walk your dog twice per day (once in the morning and once in the evening). If you would prefer that your dog doesn't go on walks - that's ok too. I usually take my dog on hiking trails near our house and/or walks in the neighborhood. I only walk dogs on leash. I am home during the day if I agree to sit a dog, so you can expect that your dog will have potty breaks whenever they are needed. We have a fenced yard that is just big enough to play a game of fetch if your dog enjoys that. I have an assortment of safe dog toys that your dog is welcome to chew to keep busy as well. :) In our house dogs are allowed to rest on couches, chairs and beds - we are pretty easy going. I'm used bathing my own dog (he is short-haired). If you would prefer that I wash your dog during the stay that can be arranged. However I'm not a professional groomer by any means so it would be a simple warm bath w/dog shampoo, rinse, and towel dry followed by staying indoors for a bit to keep from getting too cold. :) In our house I always feed dogs separately (separate rooms) to make sure everyone has good behavior. My dog Todd hasn't shown any resource guarding but we do it as a precaution to keep things friendly.
