Providing a Home Away From Home
Pet care experience
Personal experience: Lover of all animals. After losing my childhood Jack Russell Terrier, I am looking to spend some time with your furry friends. I have lived with numerous animals including birds, turtles, cats, and dogs all my life and unfortunately my home is too quiet at the moment! While caring for my diabetic JRT, I have hands-on experience providing shots and medication if need be. Over the years, I have been dog sitting various breeds and sizes including Cane Corsos, Chihuahuas, Pitties, Terriers, and Poodles. Professional experience: I have approximately 6 months experience in pet socialization/ dog walking at the McHenry County Animal Control and Adoption Center. There is no better feeling walking through the doors and finding a dog being adopted out!
Reviews
Julianna is great! Highly recommend! Thank you!
Julianna was was excellent! My Cane corso can be a difficult dog to connect with right away and Julianna was able to make fast friends with him. On time flexible and just overall a joyful person.
Julianna was amazing. He communication was awesome. She took care of Milo and Kitty like they were her own. We highly recommend her and hope she will sit for us again if needed. Thank you so much!
Cosmo loves being walked by Julianna. She’s prompt & communicates well with me. Recommend for your fur baby walks

Information Julianna E. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know more about your questions. I have a questionnaire for all pet parents upon new walks/drop-ins/boarding. About Severe Weather: I take all weather advisories seriously!* When the heat index is above 90 degrees, walks will be cut short for your pet’s safety and for my own. We will use up the remaining time getting belly rubs or playing indoors. Water will be available for your pet on our walks. * I don’t mind walking in the rain but thunder and lighting is where I will draw the line. Walks may be earlier or delayed depending on the forecast. Your flexibility is appreciated. * In winter, if the temperatures dip below 20 degrees we may need to cut our walk short and talk about turning our walk into a drop-in visit. I will always communicate beforehand if a change of plan is necessary due to inclement weather.
A typical day
It’s just as important to provide mental stimulation on top of the physical for pets. Ex: treat puzzles, lick mats, walks, running around in the backyard.
