Pet care experience
I’m Julia and my husband, Ludwig, and I are lovers of all dogs! We both work from home so your dog will get plenty of attention! Our dog, Jagger, is seven and while he can’t keep up at the dog park like he used to, is super playful and has so much fun with other dogs. We recently lost our beloved dog, Hugo, who Jagger was very attached to, so we’ve started watching dogs to give him a buddy! We live a few blocks from Fort Greene park as well as many other dog friendly parks. Jagger comes to everywhere with us and assuming your dog is comfortable, they can too! We’re extremely empathetic to dogs needs and will treat your dog as my own! We have lots of experience with geriatric dogs and are comfortable administering medication, changing diapers, the whole nine yards :) Can't wait to meet your pup!!

I had to leave town spontaneously for a family emergency and my regular dog sitters couldn't help me out with so little notice. One of them recommended Julia, so on a whim and a prayer and with a little desperation, I decided to give Julia a good-faith shot. WOW!!!!! Am I glad I did! Julia is absolutely delightful. She is truly everything you hope for in a dog sitter. Not only is she reliable, trustworthy and responsible, she is so creative. My dog is 13 and kind of set in his ways, or so I thought. Turns out I am the one set in MY ways! Julia took my dog to a different park every day, and took such great care of him that he didn't give me that pitiful "where have you been" look when I returned. I should also mention that I had to extend my stay last minute. No problem! Not only did Julia continue to care for my dog, she brought him to her home one night when she had other plans. She even took in my mail and left my place cleaner than I left it!!! Finding Julia was the answer to my prayers. I recommend Julia wholeheartedly and without reservation. She is everything I want in a dog sitter and I am so thankful I found her. Sadly, my dog passed away, so I no longer keep Julia to myself. She is the best.
I can't say enough about Julia's passion for dogs and taking great care of them. With her own dog she's always making sure he's getting the best care, whether it's from her or while she's away. She is very careful to make sure her frenchie stays healthy, only feeding him top quality food and treats. She is out bright and early, throughout the day, and late in rain or shine to take him out. When she watched my dog, Oscar didn't even want to come back home, he loved staying with her. She sent me pictures of him constantly and I could tell that her calm demeanor and true sense of caring made him feel right at home. She made sure to get details about his routine and little quirks so that she could adapt and be the best temporary dog mom for Oscar as well <3 Would highly recommend Julia for dog sitting!

Before watching a dog I need to know their socialization level, friendliness with other dogs and humans, any allergies or eating habits, etc. Our building is sensitive to barking, so if your dog barks a ton, it may not be a fit!
A typical day
We'll go on plenty of walks around the neighborhood, trips to the dog park, and pop into a coffee shop or two! Our dog is extremely social with people so he lives for running errands with us, but we’ll adapt to whatever is best for your dog.

We both work from home, and are available to go on multiple walks per day. If one person has to pop into the office, the other stays at home, so they are always with someone!
