Hi there! I’m a graduate student at the U and am the proud guardian of Huxley (a chihuahua mix) for the past 3 years. I was a regular house/pet sitter in my hometown with various breeds of dogs (big and small) as well as cats. My previous and current experiences with animals as well as my love for them makes me the best option for care of your pet while you are away! Over the summer I will be starting a clinical position and conducting research so I will be away from home for 5 or more hours - if your furry friend cannot be home alone for that long I may not be the best sitter. While I am away my pup Huxley will keep them company! I take my dog out a minimum of 3 times a day and we go on 30 minute walks around the neighborhood (the avenues). My apartment has enough room for your pet to play and relax with a small shared fenced yard out back! There is also a balcony they can soak up some sun and get some fresh air on. Rain or shine your pet will have some time outside and can get warm by the fireplace afterwards. Pursuing a graduate degree has given me skills that make me an excellent choice to watch over your pet: well organized, dependable, flexible schedule, patient, trustworthy, and a planner.
