Pet care experience
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! ☺️ I am a life-long pet owner and animal advocate with 4+ years of professional experience as a Dog Behaviorist and K-9 Trainer with a focus on obidience issues. I have extensive knowledge of the Dog Training, Pack Walking and Dog Handling practices. Throughout my professional career with animals, I worked for the dog training/boarding/ walking companies, where I enjoyed training dozens and walking hundreds of dogs of different sizes and breeds, including "challenging" dogs with behavioral issues such as: aggression, separation anxiety, excessive barking, chewing/licking paws, leash reactivity, guarding, etc. I volunteered for several rescue groups and animal shelters. I'm a big Anti-BSL supporter, and I strongly believe that dog aggression is not a behavioral, and not a breed-specific problem. Cats and other pets are certainly not excluded from my services! I love all animals and would be happy to take care of them while you're gone! Please reach out to me if you have any questions, I can't wait to hear from you!
Reviews
Julia is an exceptional sitter. My dogs lover her and I have total piece of mind when away from home.
Julia is a top-notch dog sitter! She gives each dog she works with the very best of care. Anyone who watches Julia interact with dogs can immediately tell that she comes from a place of skill and experience. She is knowledgeable about dog behavior and training techniques, and has the ability to work effectively with difficult or nervous dogs. She really takes the time to thoroughly understand each individual dog’s needs. Furthermore, she gives detailed and regular updates and is exceptionally well organized and trustworthy. I couldn’t recommend a more caring and capable dog sitter than Julia!
I’m so grateful for Julia’s amazing care!! In my opinion, she should get way more than 5 Stars on Rover -- we could not have picked anyone better than Julia. My good friend recommended her services because our pups can be a bit handful - we wanted a dog sitter with some dog training experience and Julia has done a great job with them, providing great feedback with tips and details about their behavior! We saw a marked difference in the stress-levels and general neediness of our pets after we got back home - on previous trips it took them quite a while to calm down; but with Julia its almost like we never left. She checked in with us every day, sent us great pics of our fur-babies and was generally just a joy to chat with. We felt so comfortable leaving our pets in her hands. I recommend her with eyes closed and will be calling on her again. - Karl
Julia is one of our favorite sitters! Super flexible and willing to work with Moose!

Information Julia S. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet have any "quirks"? Are they anxious? What can I do to keep them comfortable? How are they with other dogs? What amount of exercise do they need? Does your pup have any triggers? What kind of commands do you use at home and outside? Is there anything I can do to make the transition of not having their loved one around easier? How does your dog interact with people and children? What can I do to exceed your expectations? I would love to know anything important such as allergies, feeding instructions, any habits - good and bad (ie. marking, trash eating, chasing squirrels, etc.) The more I know, the better I can care for your dog. If you can provide this information, it'd be very helpful so I can provide the best possible care to your pups! Add anything you think would be helpful. Please feel free to contact me directly or just leave a note with all the instructions. I'm keeping my rates affordable, while providing 5* service and always going extra mile for my clients. Currently I won't able to schedule in-person"meet&greet" if the stay will be less than 3 nights. Thank you for your understanding!

I have recently quit my office job so I'll can stay almost full-time to provide high-quality services for you and your furry babies! I'm a very responsible and caring pet sitter who will treat your pet like my own. For me, dog sitting is all about building relationships with your and your pets. I'm interested for a long-term relationships and totally understand last-minute requests. I am a perfectionist who follows instructions exactly as they're laid out, so you'll never have to worry about your pet being properly cared for. I don't discriminate dogs by their appearance so I have no breed preferences. I actually prefer to help out with "challenging" dogs, and sometimes I volunteer as a dog walker for rescue organizations. I'm very patient for dogs who can be a little slow and can keep up with high energy dogs as well. I commit to sending updates each day with photos, because I know how important that is when at work or traveling and missing your best friend.
