When I take care of your animal I am extra careful about safety and security. Always making sure doors and exits are shut and locked, being mindful if there is a pool in the backyard, cleaning up after any mess I make… wiping down counters and sweeping up crumbs. I also am very careful to administer the right food and any medications or special needs they may have. When we are just hanging out I give them lots attention, praise, play and snuggles. Always being attentive to their needs individually.

In terms of walks and outings… I would need to know if your dog is good with other dogs in case we pass by a dog on our walk. I would like to know if they will bark or pull in another dogs direction. Also if they are reactive/aggressive towards other dogs. It’s okay if they are these things, I just need to know so I am prepared on our walk. I also would need to know if your dog is aggressive reactive or fearful towards people. Unfortunately, I am not available for dogs who are sensitive towards people. I also would need to know if your dog tends to resource guard food. And overall, any information that is relevant towards your pets behavior, special tricks to feedings or specific commands you use. For cats…any heads up if they hide, don’t like to be touched, particular about their food or anything else you can think of. Where they typically hide. Also any important to know about your house, property, doors, shower etc anything relevant.
A typical day
For cats, I like to bring some toys and play with them. I also give them lots of pets and attention. In terms of dogs, during walks in the neighborhood I give them plenty of time to sniff. I like talking to the dogs as we go on and encouraging them along the way. When we are at home I will take the time to pet them, talk to them, snuggle, and play. Sometimes it’s stressful when they’re humans not home so I make sure they are getting extra love and attention.

Hello there! My name is Julia. I have always had animals and I have also been pet sitting the past 10 years. I know how nerve racking it is to leave your precious furry family member with someone new! I have a cat and dog of my own and they are my world. Thankfully, they stay with my family when I pet sit (which they love). I know how important it is to find a good person to care for your pet. During my stay you can expect me to take care of feedings, replenish water, and administer any medications. I give them lots of affection, positive reinforcement and love! My goal is to make your pet feel like they are on a fun staycation with a new friend. I’m also vigilant about safety and security. For dogs I give them two walks a day. I have experience with all types of dogs and trained with basic dog training/handling. For cats I give them lots of pets, play with them and clean the litter box daily. In terms of house sitting I’m happy to take in mail and water plants. This should go without saying but I make sure to clean up after myself and keep things clean. I will respect your space. Basically, I love animals. I love meeting new furry friends and I take this job seriously. While having lots of fun!!

Don’t hesitate to hire Julia! I can’t recommend her enough! She watched my kitten while I was out of town for the weekend. Julia sent lots of photos and videos, and I knew my kitten was in great hands. She also cleaned my apartment, which looked just as I left it upon my return. Julia was an amazing cat sitter!! She provided frequent updates and we knew Leo was in good hands. She was so friendly and caring with him. She was very kind, professional, and reliable. Julia is the best!! She’s loving, gentle, and patient with our 2 senior dogs and two 3 year old cats. Julia has stayed many times at our home for days and weeks at a time. Our animals love her as much as she loves them. Julia is very conscientious, clean, neat and dependable Highly recommend.
Julia is amazing. She stayed at our house and watched my girl Arson for a few days. They went on walks and got pup cups and hung out at the park. I never once worried that my girl wasn’t living her best life with Julia while we were away.
