Pet care experience
Hi my name is Julia and I’m a junior animal and veterinary science major at Clemson! I‘ve been around animals my entire life and got my first dog when I was 5. My parents were super into training dogs and I learned how to take care of, respect, and love dogs the way they deserve. I currently have 6 dogs back home in Massachusetts and none here in Clemson so I love dog sitting whenever I get the chance!!

Julia is simply wonderful! She is courteous and polite, but also vibrant and full of compassion and unconditional love for the pets she cares for. She has grown up with many pets and horses of her own and knows and follows through with the responsibilities of caring for their many needs. Because she has worked on horse farms and is in an Animal Science major at Clemson, she is comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. She is good with following through with the owner's routines and rules for behavior and manners. Julia is always my first choice and "go to" girl for pet and animal sitting. I highly recommend Julia.

I live in a four bedroom apartment in downtown Clemson. Since the apartment building is dog friendly, there are 2 fenced in, grassy areas provided that allow people to take out their dogs to play! I also love taking dogs on walks to show off how cute they are so you wouldn’t have to worry about your baby being cooped up in an apartment all day!

I love ALL dogs and I don't discriminate based on breed or age. Normally I would just need to know the basics like feeding schedule, basic commands they were trained(or are in training) to understand, and any preferences that you have (like allowing them on furniture, giving treats, ect.). I also would like to know if your pet has any allergies or specific "quirks" that I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love going on walks around campus and downtown Clemson where your dog would get to meet lots of people and maybe some other furry friends!

Availability
I’m currently a full-time student and I have classes during the week but I live right next to campus so I am usually around for most of the day. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can do both week days and weekends but weekends are preferable.
