Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Friends and neighbors rely on me when out of town to feed, walk and care for their pets. It’s a joy for me!! I am a graduate student at NIU studying acting!

Julia took Nami on very short notice and coordinated really well with us. She sent is frequent photos, which we really appreciated. Nami really liked her and came back to us happy, well care for and with a new friend.
julia prieto has watched my precious dogs, luna and maggie, on several occasions. without a doubt, julia is the best dog watcher i’ve ever come by. she is extremely trustworthy, caring, and has a huge heart— genuinely loving of all animals. when i’ve entrusted julia with my pups, she took them on many puptivities; namely, walks, field trips to the dog park, catch in the backyard. she constantly updated me with adorable pictures of luna and maggie when i was away, which i appreciated immensely, as i missed my two angels dearly. julia prieto has all my confidence and blessings in the world that she will be a great addition to the rover team!
I highly recommend Julia for this position with Rover. She is responsible, trustworthy, and frankly the only person I really trust taking care of my two dogs while I'm on holiday. I can count on her to feed, walk, and play with my pets! Aside from being an excellent dog caregiver, Julia always keeps an upkeep and enthusiastic attitude.

A typical day
I usually take my dogs to Woodward park. They have a fun dog park where we can play ball! My neighborhood is very dog friendly so we can walk around there or even walk to Woodward park if we’re feeling fancy!!

I am a full time student and usually have class Monday- Thursday: 9-4 I have a 2 hour lunch slot where I can come check on your pet and walk them if necessary and I can watch them anytime after 4!
