I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I’ve always been the primary caretaker. Have taken care of and trained puppies as well as older or sick dogs. Generally speaking, I like to be pretty active with dogs - I live next to a park with a dog run and close to a ravine so there is plenty of outdoor opportunities. I always find that a tired dog is a happy dog! However I understand that older or less active dogs can’t keep up with that and thankfully I am a homebody and love to cuddle up and chill out at home too. I am in my final year of law school and have plenty of free time during the week so I can tend to any of your dog’s needs. I am a law student in my final year so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. Some of my classes are in person so depending on the day of the week, there may be short periods (2.5 hours usually at most) in which I may have to leave your pup alone in my apartment, so if this isn’t possible please let me know and we can see what we can do. I live alone in a well sized one bedroom. The building is small (not a condo) and there is a small backyard too. Requires walking 3 flights of stairs so that is something to keep in mind if your dog has an issue with that/can’t or doesn’t like to be held! I do not have any dogs and will not take care of more than one dog at a time. I am comfortable crating dogs if they are trained that way. I’ve had very high energy and mischievous dogs in the past so I also know how to keep an eye on younger or curious dogs.
