About Me: Im a midwestern gal living in Boston pursuing a masters in Public Health part-time, while working full-time at home. I have a soft-spot for animals, dogs and cats specifically, which stems from my childhood. I grew up taking care of my white German Shepherd - walks, feeding times, and potty breaks (not to mention an infinite amount of love). I now watch over my family’s short haired pointer whenever I visit home. I’ve been a cat owner too, conscientious of their specific needs and space. I joined Rover for two reasons - 1. Because I adore spending my spare time with dogs and cats; 2. For a little extra money (graduate school is costly). Services: I’m happy to stop by for feedings, grooming, and belly rubs; or housesit on weekends you are out of town. Good to knows: I live in the Dorchester/Ashmont area and provide services within a ~2 miles radius. I have the most flexibility on the weekends and evenings after 6pm (on Fridays I work from home). However, please reach out to me to confirm my schedule (I can be somewhat flexible). Please note, I do not have a car at this time and do not housesit unhousebroken pups. I only care for pets at the client’s home. My approach entails following any directions the client leaves behind, caring for the pet’s needs on an agreed upon schedule to give the client peace of mind, and sharing photos from each visit.

For all requests, I like to know more about the pet(s) via a virtual call or in person, the services the client is interested in, and the best communication tool so the client and I can figure out the logistics.
A typical day
At this time I offer drop-in visits or house sitting for cats and dogs. When I care for a dog, I’m happy to make sure their needs are met at home and going on walks following a route the client recommends. For cats, I do have experience administering oral medications.

I currently work full-time in a position that is 3 days work from home and 2 days in the office. On the days I’m home or on weekends, I’ll ensure enough time for travel and time with your beloved pet.
