Hi there! I’m Julia and I can’t wait to meet your dog! I live in West Town with my rescue chihuahua, Porkchop. I have 16 years of experience in caring for dogs, from senior dogs, to active dogs, and dogs with special needs. I work remote from home and would love nothing more than to spend time with your dog while you’re away. Rest assured, your dog will be well taken care of by me. Julia is an incredibly kind and responsible friend whom I have trusted to look after my dogs for the past 3 years. Anytime I am on vacation, she has looked after my pets as if they were her own. Julia is an animal lover and is great with dogs of all sizes. She has been able to connect with my notoriously ill tempered chihuahua and also look after my endlessly energetic husky. It comes naturally to her. And it is apparent how much she cares about animals through her work ethic and professionalism.

Porkchop is my rescue chihuahua and is about 9 years old. She likes to chill and sun bathe all day, but I like to keep her active and make sure she gets in at least 2-3 miles a day. My home is also 100% dog proof, since Porkchop is a very nosey girl. We have plenty of space, dog beds, and toys for your dog to choose from. We also have a large rooftop and small fenced in front yard.

Information I would like to know ahead of time is if your dog has a routine, how much exercise he/she needs, dietary restrictions, allergies, medical needs, their temperament, favorite activities, dislikes/triggers, and if your dog is friendly with other dogs.
A typical day
I love being active and going on walks daily. I take Porkchop everywhere with me and we love to explore the Wicker Park and West Town. I also love taking Porkchop to the park and having picnics. We can’t wait to have your dog join us on our little adventures!

My schedule is pretty flexible, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out and care for your dog while you’re at work or away. The only day I’m usually unavailable is Sunday, since that is my family day.
