Pet care experience
I have taken care of all kinds of pets since I was 10. Starting with volunteering at farms working with dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and horses. My first official job was working at a dog kennel, I worked there for 2 years, and we also took care of cats and small animals there. Unfortunately, I had to leave because I got my service dog! It was not a place where we worked successfully together, but I still love that kennel and working with animals!

I booked Julia to walk my dog while I was to be out of town but ended up getting sick and not traveling but kept her coming for part of the days until I was well. My Frankie loved his walks with Julia, and the notes and pics were so sweet. I will definitely use Julia again.

I always prefer to have a schedule and routine! So if your pets needs structure and balance I will be sure to fulfill their needs! I always have energy to spare so if they need a lot of play time that’s fine with me! Whatever it is that your pets need I am here to take care them. I do have two dogs of my own, one of them being my service dog so if I am house sitting I do not stay over night unless it is only 1-2 nights. I do not bring my service dog with me on rover visits :)

Please let me know, if your pet has anxiety, whether it’s because of past experiences or just the way they are. Any allergies? Rough player? Too smart for their own good? All welcome but I would love to know to make sure they get the best care
A typical day
I always love making sure your dogs are stimulated, but I also understand not all dogs have a super high play drive. So we play fun mental games, whether it’s treats in toys, lick Mats, fun new tricks, there is plenty to do even if they don’t want to go chase a ball!

Availability
I’m currently working part-time at the Indianapolis zoo. I currently work 3-4 days a week. So while I cannot be with your pets 24/7 I make sure they well looked after while you are away. I absolutely love to get exercise in for myself so I love going on dog walks as often as I can. When I am home for breaks I love catching up with all my favorite clients and getting in all those cuddles.
