I grew up with dogs in the house and am 100% a dog person. While growing up I would dog sit for my neighbors and take neighborhood dogs for walks. I graduated from UVM with a bachelors in Animal Science in 2020 and am working at a local animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. I adopted my pup January of 2021, and she has been my partner in crime ever since. She is VERY friendly, but can come on a little strong due to her puppy energy. She loves to make new friends (people and dogs) and the both of us would love to add friends to our weekend walks around town.

We are lucky to have found Julia to take care of our girls? Charlotte our dog, likes a lot of activities outdoors and Julia was wonderful with her, taking her snowshoeing. We couldn't have been more relaxed while we were away. Julia kept us updated with a few photos and stayed in touch with her schedule. We will most certainly call Julia again. Book her before someone else does!
Julia was so great with my high energy dog. She is not an easy dog to keep entertained and calm. Julia went hiking and running with her daily and sent me photos during her stay. I would highly recommend Julia to take care of your dog!

My apartment does not have its own yard, so we will walk around the neighborhood. If your dog would prefer, we can all go for a hike. My dog likes to be off leash while hiking, so we will find someplace she can be wild and your dog can join her, or we can stay on leash if we are not at a location that allows off leash dogs.

I would like to know how friendly your dog is and how they get along with other dogs. As well as how they are on leash, and how high energy they are. I'd like to know what some of their favorite activities are and what their favorite foods are. I grew up with lab mixes but I love all kinds of dogs.
A typical day
All three of us will walk around the neighborhood, or if you would like we can go for a hike at a local trail. We can even find a local dog park for the pups to romp and make even more friends.

Availability
I am working full time at a local animal hospital, so my hours during the week are very limited. I do have availability in the evenings during the week. As the hospital is currently closed on weekends, I am completely free for weekends. My dog and I like to hike, so if your dog does too, we would love a new friend to come along.
