Pet care experience
I have had dogs my entire life and really love working and interacting with them! I have experience as a trainer teaching all levels of pet manners and puppy classes, as well as a few dog sports. I have worked with many different breeds and ages, and I love them all. I would love to care for your pup while you're away and keep them mentally and physically active. This may include food puzzle toys, sniffer games, games of fetch (if your pup is into that), and, of course, walks! Or maybe your pup lives at a slower pace and would prefer just hanging out and that's good, too! Each dog is different and I'd love to meet you and your pup to find out how I can beat accommodate their needs while you're away!

Julia is amazing! She came over prior to accepting the job to make certain she could meet our needs. She reviewed our feeding schedule and got to know our pups. Julia called with questions when due to a recent medical procedure our dogs food had changed and we forgot about the change. Her report of each visit was amazing! Using Julia was the best alternative to a kennel stay for our elderly dog! We will be utilizing Julia's service again and recommend you do also!!

If you want your pups to have the best dog sitter ever...then get in touch with Julia! My 12 yo jack russel-beagle, and 2 yo chi-weenie-pom (i.e., small mutt) LOVE her. She gives dogs her full attention, so they get plenty of playtime and exercise. Her dog, Maisey, is a sweetheart and gets along well with all dogs.

We have a large yard and some hiking paths through our back property. We currently have 3 friendly dogs, but also use gates throughout our home to divide spaces if necessary. We do crate or gate our dogs for their own safety when we leave our home (usually not more than a few hours at a time), so prefer dogs who are crate trained. I work from home so pups enjoy frequent yard time throughout the day and mostly enjoy hanging out and napping in my office while I work.

I would like to know any problems you are working on with your dog (housetraining issues, separation anxiety, excessive barking, food possessive, etc.) I would also like to know what a typical schedule is for them, as I would like to keep that as similar as possible while you're away. Also, things like where they sleep or how are the contained (if at all) at night or when we are away from the house. Also please include what types of treats and toys your pups like and if there is a particular area he/she likes to be scratched the most! Safety is important, too, so please let me know about any known medical conditions or allergies or if there are certain toys or treats your dog cannot have!
A typical day
We walk around our property or down our deadend road everyday and the length will be whatever is appropriate for your dog! When we need to have more relaxed quiet time, I can provide some puzzle toys for mental enrichment.

Availability
I currently work full-time from home, so am able to accommodate short activities throughout the day and then longer activities in the evenings and weekends. With my own dogs, we usually take a short walk around our property at lunch and then resettle with a food toy until after work with yard time and just hanging out in my office during the day. For drop-in visits or walks, I may be able to shift my work hours around to accommodate daytime visits.
