Vet Assistant dog sitter/dog walker
Pet care experience
My name is Julia Miller and I work at a vet office as a vet assistant part time. I've had my veterinary assistant certification since 2011 and have been working at a veterinary clinic for over a year. I would like to earn some extra income on my full day off of work which is typically Tuesday. I might later become available more often depending on my work schedule. I can dog sit for a full day on Tuesday's or I can walk dogs in the evenings any day during the week. I have two dogs myself so I would rather dog sit in someone else's home but I could bring dogs into my home if they are not aggressive and get along with my pups. (I also have a cat.)

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
My experience administering medication I am very comfortable administering medication whether it would be orally or injectable. I have experience from working at Casselman veterinary services and from personal experience with my dogs. Pill shooters come in handy too if you have a stubborn dog (or mostly cats) that isn't fooled by pill pockets or peanut butter.
Information Julia M. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting any pet I would like to know if they have any negative traits such as jumping just for the fact that I can prepare myself and can help try to control the situation when the time comes. As far as a breed preference goes, I would be happy to sit anything from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and colors!
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog Tuesdays I can spend the entire day with your dog(s) and any other day I can go on a long walk after your pet is fed and let outside. If it is Wednesday through Saturday I will only be able to go to your home twice a day(once in the am and once after work). Sunday through Tuesday I can spend a lot more time with your animals. Extra house-sitting services I am willing to do simple tasks around a home while someone is away. I would bring in mail, water plants, feed fish or birds or critters like hamsters if you have any, sweep, leave lights on, etc.

Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover and always grew up having at least one at any given time. I couldn't imagine life without a pet and I know how important mine are to me so I treat other people's pets as well as my own.
