Hi! I’m Julia. I firmly believe that a life without a dog is not complete so spending time with your pup will be as rewarding for me as much as it is helpful and reassuring to you. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energies. When I work for you, my top priority are taking care of your dog. For this reason, I prefer to stay at your home so that you and your pet are more at ease. I work for Partners For Kids, a part of Nationwide Children’s Hospital on weekdays and part-time on Saturdays at Fleet Feet Sports after pace coaching for runners as part of Marathoner In Training.

Julia was great to work with! Prompt, professional, thoughtful and friendly in communications. My dogs felt comfortable with her right away during the meet/greet. She was patient and understanding with all the details and information for our two senior dogs. She managed their meds, routines, and physical limitations with ease. She was flexible and accommodating when our schedule/plans changed on the day of our return. I highly recommend her and will absolutely be working with her again when we need a house sitter + dog sitter!
Julia was a delight to work with. I have 2 dogs that have special needs and she was very good at dealing with their medical needs. She visited the dogs at my house and invited me into her house to see how they would adjust to her. I would strongly recommend her.
Julia made me feel super comfortable about leaving my dog with someone for the first time. I felt confident that she would follow his medication routines :)

Before I spend time with your pup, I'd like to meet you and learn how you communicate to him/her. I'll ask you questions along the following lines: What are your rules? Does your pet have severe separation anxiety? What are your dog's restrictions--medications, injuries, endurance? How is your dog with new people, other animals, new places? I can’t wait to meet you and your furbaby!
A typical day
I am an active person and enjoy running, walking and hiking, and I have a few frisbees that need some playtime. Parks nearby include the Spindler Road Dog Park and the trail that leads all the way to Rails to Trails bike path in downtown Hilliard! There are several other parks and trails near me with ample shade on hot summer days. (I make sure to have access to plenty of cool water for both your pup and myself--safety first). Playing indoors is also a must: catch, tug-of-war, and hide-and-go-seek are a few favorites.

Availability
Due to my current work and running schedule I blocked my calendar until after my marathon in order to be transparent with you about my availability. Please note, out of respect for your plans and my own, I set quiet hours from 9pm-9am so I might not see late night requests until the morning.
