Pet care experience
I've loved dogs since I was a child, and have owned them as pets since age 9, first a beagle/basset mix, a springer spaniel mutt, and lately a black lab mix. During high school and undergrad I worked as a dog sitter and dog walker. I love dogs of any size and any age! While I have worked as a pet sitter in the past, currently I'm only looking to walk dogs due to a lack of space in my current flat, and as a way to help the community and indulge my love of all things canine. I have traveled extensively in the US, Europe, and New Zealand and love walking pets as a way to explore cities, and meeting dogs is always the best part of any trip. I would be more than happy to walk any dog of any breed, size, temperament, and age. Give me a call if your pet needs any exercise!

Im very happy to have found Julia, who is punctual, responsible and did great with my 6 yo Weimaraner. She communicates and was responsive before and during the house sit. Will definitely call on her again!

Julia is so friendly and easy going! She is understanding of my dog-mom neuroses and attentive to my hyper and anxious beagle, Beau. Beau fell in love the second he saw Julia walking down the street for our meet and greet, and her sweet and calm demeanor seems to be rubbing off on him, too. I like to do activities that stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. We usually do part of a walk to check out neighborhood smell, and part to get exercise. If it's a longer stay, I like to play fetch of play however they prefer.

I currently work full time, though part time from home. I enjoy having a dog to walk when I take breaks, as well as during the weekends.
