Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals ever since I can remember, and have a network of house and pet-sitting clients I’ve been working with for years. One of which includes the founder of a local wildlife shelter, where my partner and I care for over 15 animals. I also work at the wildlife sanctuary part time. I love staying active, and my walks and runs are only improved with a pup in tow! I have a very flexible schedule and am used to providing animal care for varying lengths of time. My top priority is to be able to give pets plenty of companionship, attention, and activity while their owners are away. I’m very experienced in special requests for your pet, including eating routines, grooming, giving medications, exercise minimums, and injured pet care. I'm crazy about cats as well as dogs!

Julia was great. Our senior dog has special food requirements and all was handled well. And she didn't mind getting up early with our other dog who likes breakfast as early as possible. Also loved the updates and photos. We will definitely use her again.

Julia was a great companion for our Buddy while we were away for the weekend. She came over to do a meet and greet a few days before and was very easy going and immediately comfortable with our gentle giant Lab. We would be happy to use Julia again in the future.

It’s important to know if the dog has any anxieties or triggers, anything that makes them uncomfortable. Any special needs/dietary info, and general routine they are used to. If they try to run/ get out, or if they try to pull really hard on walks.
A typical day
Depending on the dogs usual routine, I love to take them for long walks or trips to a park. Playing with toys at home or in the yard for stimulation as well. And training with treats as well.
