I have been nicknamed the 'cat whisperer'. I have owned cats my whole life. My two Persians lived to a grand age of 18+ years. I cared for the declining health of my recently departed Kia, the love of my life, who needed special love and care during his final months. I know the signs to watch out for and have an excellent vet within 2 miles.

Julia was absolutely wonderful! She put our minds at ease with us leaving our fur baby with a stranger for the first time though it didn’t feel that way very long. She talked with us before she left and put our minds to ease send video updates, texts and pictures. Her friend Laura also a cat lover had our Valkyrie in love by the end of her stay. She was definitely Mary Paw-pins for us and we are still so grateful. Definitely would rebook!

My cat had anxiety before going, but Julia‘s place is really peaceful. They were very attentive to my cat and sent me updates. I will definitely be using them again!

I have lots of soft rugs, blankets, sofa, armchair and ottoman. Cats love all these places, plus a screened-in patio under a tree where they can stretch out and sleep on the loungers while listening to the outdoor sounds, watch squirrels or activity on the lake. I put a large water bowl and food always available, and I keep a watch on them. Ask to see videos.

Please bring the food that they know and love. As much familiarity as possible is key to successfully boarding a cat. It's important that I know the age of the cat and if they're currently on medication of any kind. Please provide detailed instructions of how to administer the medication. I wish to know the veterinarian where their medical history resides, and that you have your credit card on file at their office. If you cat is elderly and on medication please reconsider boarding - this combination isn't favorable for your cat.
A typical day
I make playtime fun with their own toys. Please bring an item from home as they will feel less anxious when they are reminded of you. Your cat will sleep well at my vaCATion Oasis and in the morning we'll have a happy little chat while preparing their food. I also sing to cats … but don't tell anyone :)

Availability
I work from home which enables me to be fully attentive to your cat’s needs. I leave briefly to get groceries or I may see a friend of an evening but I am home every night.
