Pet care experience
I am a student at Virginia Tech in my 4th year of veterinary school. I have grown up with pets, large and small, my entire life. I have worked with a variety of animals through my experiences in veterinary clinics and volunteering in the local animal shelters. My favorite time of the day is spent with animals which is why I've rescued my two cats from a box outside of Outback Steakhouse. I would love nothing more but to be able to make some extra money while in veterinary school by taking care of the town's pups. It'll be my way of giving back.

I have taken care of the healthiest puppy to the geriatric nearing the end of its life. I have done this in hospital and at home. It’s important to know the pets individual needs and how the owner normally takes care of them.
A typical day
Depending on each individual animal, it can range from a long walk/jog to running around in the back yard playing fetch. Hiking is also an option.
