Pet care experience
I am very loving, calm and have lived on farms and been around and cared for a lot of animals - horses, goats, dogs, cats, tropical birds, chickens, peacocks, etc... Right now, I am only available to sit in people's homes or do drop in visits. I watch one family's animals at a time and will be a presence in your home - getting your mail and packages, watering plants, addressing emergencies, dealing with workers if needed, taking out garbage and recycling, etc.. I love to take hikes with dogs and am good with and will make sure your animals get regular exercise, attention and fun. I am good with all kinds of animals. Am a former pet and child photographer and will take cute pics of your pets and send them to you regularly. Being a creative professional, I work mostly from home, so your pet will have lots of companionship and care. Your pet will be my best friend while we are together. We will have fun! You CAN teach an old dog new tricks by just loving them just the way they are. I am very good with traumatized animals and provide incredible love, care and support to give them a safe place and to help alleviate their anxiety : )) I can give medications and also do EFT (meridian tapping) for animals (and people!). This is a calming and healing technique that can naturally calm your pet. I eat very healthy organic food and use all natural ingredients and will do so when staying at your home.

Julia did an amazing job watching our 16 and a half year old Shitzu poodle mix. Right before we left our baby had a bad food reaction and it was scary to leave on vacation at that time. This was Julia's first time with Chloe and she cared for her in a way that would not be expected of most sitters, including taking her to the Vet, cooking her special food, taking her for walks in the middle of the night, and giving her the love and attention we always give. This was especially needed because she was not feeling well. And the house was all in order when we returned. We will absolutely have Julia back next time we go on vacation and we highly recommend her.

I knew from my first meeting with Julia that she was the right person to watch our Trudie, a 4 yr old Bichon. I was not wrong. Julia exudes a sense of calm, professionalism, and love for animals. I know everyone on this site will agree that there’s nothing better than going away and knowing your pet is safe and happy at home with a sitter. I have that peace of mind with Julia. Oh and as others have said, she also takes great care of our home and sends wonderful pictures of Trudie!
Julia is wonderful. She watched 3 dogs and a cat at our house and they were so happy and calm when we got home. 1 dog is a 90pd beast and another dog is a small shih tzu senior dog who takes medication. It’s clear she loved them like her own when she was here. Julia also sent many pictures and sent to us throughout her stay We will definitely be repeat customers.

A typical day
I love to take long walks and will take them where the owner says the animals are comfortable and familiar with. I am happy to take them in my car to a park.
