Pet care experience
I’m a law student with an active yellow lab who knows how to wear out an energetic dog. I’ve had dogs all my life (a corgi, labs, and pit-mixes). I’m happy to take your dog for a lap around the block or to a nearby open space to play. I can also train your dog to be an excellent walking companion! I love to run and am happy to have a jogging partner as well, but I typically let the dog determine the pace of our jaunt. As a former teacher, I understand that everyone is different and that structure is important, and I can accommodate most specific requests to make sure your dog has consistency, safety, and fun! Julia gave Shepard undivided attention and care when he was with her. They even went on biking trips when I hinted that we go biking together. Sometimes his anxiety can get high and cause him to vomit but in this case he felt comfortable enough with Julia and came back home content. We will rebook with Julia in the near future.

I would like to know the route the dog is used to walking or running. I would also like to know any commands the dog responds well to. I want to have an idea how the dog will react to new people or other animals and how to support their socialization as well! no breed preferences.
A typical day
I will walk the dog around their home neighborhood for the first few walks in order to build the relationship and comfort. After that, I can take the dog to a nearby park or trail for longer walks or runs.
