Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, and really miss my childhood dog (a Belgian shepherd) who lives with my parents in Massachusetts. As a young freelance actress/filmmaker, I know I can't commit to owning a dog full-time right now, but I absolutely love to care for one for a day or so at a time! Because of my unusual schedule, I often have the opportunity to come home in the middle of the day, or work from home, so I have the flexibility to make sure your dog gets all the care he or she needs! I enjoy exercise and love to run and walk with your dog as well - I live right near Central Park and Carl Schurz Park.

I love all breeds of dogs (special soft spot in my heart for Shiba Inu's and Samoyeds), and am comfortable handling any well-trained, obedient dog. I can't accept any in my apartment who are not house-trained, bark consistently throughout the day/night, or exhibit aggressive behavior. Other than that, I am happy with a wide variety of dog personalities, activity levels, and playfulness.
A typical day
I love running/walking in Central Park - I'm also happy to take dogs to the dog run if they enjoy playing with others. I usually spend a good amount of time writing and working from home throughout the week, so I can also provide cuddle time on the couch while I work.
