As you can probably tell from my photos, I absolutely love animals! I grew up with a dog and 2 cats and helped my parents with walking our dog, changing the cats litter, feeding, etc. Before the pandemic hit, I was a nanny for around 3 years with one family. The family had two dogs that I cared for on a regular basis. I have done multiple overnight stays at their house so I have experience with that. In 2021 I started working with animals again - drop in visits, overnight stays, walks, etc. The last dog I took care of on a regular basis before I moved was very anxious so I have a good amount of experience with nervous dogs/giving medication. I have done many overnight stays with him as well. Additionally, I have experience with puppies and have spent some time with senior dogs. I would consider myself a responsible person and I would make sure your pet is happy and safe. I care a lot about animals I love to spend time with them. I adopted a cat about a 3 years ago. She is amazing and has taught me a lot more about how to care for pets as well as the responsibilities that come along with having one. Her name is Luna and I love her so much. I do not know what I would do without her. She makes my days so much better! I cannot offer any services in my apartment unfortunately but if I care for your pet in your home I will make sure that they have everything they need (play time, bathroom, fresh water, etc)! And of course making sure everything is safe for your pet when I leave. I understand that pets are like family and do not take this responsibility lightly.
