Pet care experience
I have walked dogs since I was at least 13. I know how to walk more than one dog at once, I am able to take care of puppies! I am also very good with cats, as I have grown up with cats since I was very young. I have administered insulin to cats and dogs before with subcutaneous injection, and have administered different pills to dogs and cats using pill pockets and hiding them in food. I have also taken care of pets that have just come out of surgery and need downtime or have issues with their cone or different topical treatments. I also take care of other pets that are not offered on here (birds, lizards, etc), but I will need full details on other animals as well. Happy to help with ANY animal- I am an animal girl and will help with just about any type of pet, flock, herd, you name it!

Julia was awesome with our puppy Boone! We were very nervous to leave him for a whole week but she put our minds at ease by checking in with us every day and sending photos. Julia stay at our place while we were away and it was clean and well-kept when we returned. We would definitely book with Julia again and highly recommend her to other pet parents!

Julia took excellent care of my older lady dog and her younger, crazy dog-brother. She stayed at our house and I felt like my dogs and house were well cared for. She is responsive and sent at least one picture everyday we were gone. When she came over for the meet-and-greet, she was so kind and easy to talk to. She made fast friends with the dogs and also my (very shy) niece. She will be our first call for all future trips!

I have house with one other person and our dog Chester in the Aurora area. We have a nice sized fenced in back yard, and we are close to a local dog park that we walk to and play at. Chester has many dog friends, and is always happy to make more!
Information Julia H. would like to know about your pet
I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and would never turn anyone down for a certain breed that they have. Before I take any dog on a walk, it would be nice to know what their energy level is and what kind of things I need to look for on walks (keep them walking, keep them away from other dogs, and if they are training for anything specifically, etc). If I am sitting or coming to drop in for a visit, maybe some information on what they will be like when I get there, where can I find them if they aren't in sight (under the sofa, etc), and how they will be around someone new for the length of time that you're gone.
A typical day
I can take your dog on walks around the neighborhood or around my neighborhood where there is a dog park! I like to run (if the dog is up for it), especially to get that extra energy out. I love also playing fetch with dogs or tug of war, so feel free to send me with any toys! I have given many good boys and good girls pup cups, but only if they are good and it is allowed. I like to have fun with the dogs or the cats so I know for sure they had a good time as well.

I work full time, but I have a very flexible schedule during the week most of the time when it comes to early mornings and mid-afternoons.
