Highly recommend Julia for all of your pet sitting needs. I have a 6 month old puppy and was very hesitant to have anyone watch my baby but Julia made me so comfortable on leaving her with her for the day. She was super easy to get ahold of and responded within minutes when I had questions prior to the day. When I got there she was so sweet and Ruby immediately took a liking to her and her home. Julia sent tons of pictures and updates throughout her time there. That made me feel way more comfortable and I enjoyed seeing my pup enjoy her time there. I recently used Julia to house sit my dog for the very first time. I am new to having to use Rover and sitters I don’t know. Without asking my permission, Julia took my dog to her house for an extended period of time. Turns out there was also a cat there, and my dog has not been around cats before, and she stated that she “tested out the waters” on her own. While thankfully nothing bad happened, I found it very irresponsible and a sign of poor judgment that she would expose my pup to a new environment without my permission, without knowing his prior history with another type of animal. In addition, I live in an apartment building with a front desk concierge, and all concierge staff reported that they only saw her walk the pup once a day. It all kind of renders hiring a house sitter useless. Would recommend caution when hiring Julia to care for your pet.
