Pet care experience
In January 2024 I am having hip surgery and will be looking for a full-time job after I recover, so I can no longer offer pet care services. While caring for your adorable fur babies I was able to achieve my Associate in Accounting from HCC, an Undergraduate Certificate in HR from UMGC, and a Bachelor's degree in HR from UMGC. In the spring I will attain a Graduate Certificate in Strategic HR from UMGC and eventually attain a Masters. Thank you so much to all the pet parents who helped me achieve so many academic accomplishments while being able to do something I love. I wouldn't have been able to come this far without your generous business and I am eternally grateful for helping me reach my goals. I’m Julia and I love dogs almost as much as they love my belly rubs. This won't be your average dog sitting. Your dog will be safe with me and have a great time. I have a lot of energy but am flexible to your dogs’ needs. I can tire out pups with a lot of energy or gently play with older dogs. I am very responsible and will be sure to send you updates. For drop-in and dog walking, I will come to your house and play with or walk your dog. For both, I will make sure to take them out for a potty break and pick up any deposits. I’ll also be sure to send you a picture of your furry friend and tell you what we did. For dog sitting at your place, I am flexible and can be there at whatever time we agree. I will take your dog out to play and for walks and make sure to send you plenty of pictures of everything we do. Unless asked otherwise, I’ll sleep at your house to keep your pup plenty of company. I aspire to keep your pup happy and accompanied so you can relax until your return from your trip. My goal is not just to please your pup, but also you with the love and care I give them.

I will let them out several times a day to go potty, especially in the morning, dinner, and nighttime. Bella eats twice a day, once in the morning and once around 5:30. When Bella/a dog I’m taking care of is high energy I will play with toys, go outside, or take them on a walk to relieve some of that energy. If they are mellow and sleepy, I’m happy to cuddle up on the couch with them and do homework or watch some TV with them. Any other activities can vary depending on the dog's schedule, but I am very flexible and capable.
Information Julia G. would like to know about your pet
I like the know their daily schedule, what time they generally wake up, have potty breaks, eat, and their poop schedule. How high/low energy they are and what they generally like to do most of the day. Any medical concerns/medication that they need to take as well as their veterinary information.
A typical day
We will always first start with potty and breakfast. With high energy dogs we will play with toys or go on a morning walk, and hopefully that will bring a nap after. We will go on an lunch and afternoon walk as well. I usually will walk around the neighborhood/down the street, but if there is a usual path or route you take I am happy to walk that as well.

Availability
I take online classes through the summer so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to spend most if not all of my time with your dog while dog-sitting. As long as I have about a week's advance notice I can work my school schedule around just about anything!
