Pet care experience
I grew up with two dogs, and have experience with walking and caring for other dogs. I have more experience with large dogs, but I love dogs of all sizes! I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology, and have a lifelong love for all animals! In addition to the two dogs I grew up with, over my lifetime I have had 7 cats, several chickens, fish, rabbits, turtles, and a snake.

Julia was great with our cats! They became very comfortable with her, and we returned to happy pets after a week away. I appreciated the regular photos as well. I will definitely ask her again!

We sent our dog Ginger (25 lb Shepard mix) to Julia for two nights, and it went so well! Julia kept us updated with texts and pictures, and we felt super comfortable that Ginger was well taken care of throughout her stay. We loved that she gave Ginger daily walks and dog park visits - Ginger was just exhausted when we picked her up, which we were super happy about because it means she got great exercise! We definitely plan to use Julia again - thanks for being such a great dog sitter!

No breed preferences, although I have more experience with medium to larger sized dogs. I would like to know if the dog is friendly/playful with other dogs (so I can take him/her to the dog park) and if they ever have accidents in the house.
A typical day
I live across from a large cemetery, which is the perfect place to walk dogs. Gravel paths, large shade trees for breaks, and lots of grassy areas. I also live in an area with sidewalks, so there will be no walking on the streets. A public dog park is also 5 minutes away from my house!
