Pet care experience
Caring for dogs brings me joy. My experience comes from raising family dogs since I was young and dog sitting for the past four years. I love to run and walk with the pups in the parks near my home, in the mountains, and around my yard. I am a freelancer and am happy to help most any time of day. Dogs deserve attentive care for their bodies, minds, and souls--just like us humans. I'm comfortable with the following tasks: feeding, playing, grooming, administering medicine, and exercising with your dog. They'll have a blast on a walk with me and a feel safe in my care. I so look forward to meeting your dog, earning their trust, and making them feel at home with me!

I'm comfortable working with dogs that have special physical or emotional needs. I've cared for some very tricky dogs in my life, and have found that their hearts are extra special. Mostly, it's important for me to know if a dog is reactive or sensitive to certain populations of people, in order to keep the dog and other people safe under my watch.
A typical day
Hiking, walking, playing with toys are great ways I've found to burn through a dog's energy. The mantra, "A tired dog is a happy dog" has proven true for me time and time again. Good cuddles are always on the menu, too.

I work freelance and only take Rover jobs in between my location sound recording jobs. That means I'm totally free when I'm pet sitting and treat it as my full day (or stretch of days) job.
