I spent a summer taking care of a friend's diabetic dog and have done pet-sitting for numerous people since then. I worked for a few years as a cat shelter volunteer, so I can handle unpleasant messes, medical issues, and any of the other complications that come with pets. I know how to administer injections, clean injuries, and sneak pills into food. Most of my personal experience is with cats, but I have also cared for dogs, chickens, tortoises, and fish. I'm an avid runner, so I'm happy to go for runs with dogs who love exercise. And if you just want someone to play fetch or watch your dog while you're out of town, I can do that too. Weekends are the best time for me, but I'm flexible about scheduling.
