I have been a life long animal lover, but unfortunately my apartment doesn’t allow pets- so this is the perfect alternative! I grew up with a pup, Amber, who was my best friend and was always surrounded by neighbors and family’s pups as well. As I got older, I was the go-to family dog sitter while I was home on break. I am comfortable with all size dogs and all ages. I have experience administering medicine for elderly dogs and have no problem wiping up messes of younger pups not yet potty trained. I am kind and responsible and can keep up with even the most energetic dog. I look forward to getting to know your pet soon!

Julia has always been a dog lover. She gravitates to any dog in the room and immediately showers them in love. She had the sweetest pup Amber growing up and since then has been waiting for the day to get a dog of her own. For now, she acts as the best dog aunt to my 100 pound loaf a dog named Ollie! Not only will Julia take care of your dog but she will go the extra mile to make sure they feel extra loved. I would never hesitate to trust Julia as a responsible dog caregiver. Your pooch will be in great hands!
I can't say enough good things about Julia! She has been watching my golden retriever puppy ever since he was 2-months-old and does a fantastic job. She's reliable, caring, and you can tell how much she loves dogs. Throughout the entire stay, I felt confident and comfortable knowing that he was in good hands — not to mention she sent photo and status updates throughout her visit. She is accommodating to whatever the owner and dog are comfortable with — she took him to the dog park, for walks, and other outdoor excursions — and treats every pup like her own. Alfie gets so excited every time Julia comes to stay with him, and I don't think you can find a better sitter!
Julia is an awesome dog sitter! She sat my Australian Shepard puppy for the weekend. Very responsive and kept me updated so I always knew my dog was safe and happy :)

I live in a wonderful, clean apartment with my boyfriend that is across the street from a small park - sadly it is unfenced, but still gives pups a place to run around on a leash and take potty breaks! I am also very comfortable staying at a clients house where the dog is most comfortable and familiar.

Information Julia D. would like to know about your pet
It would be great to know any boundaries you set at home that I can implement when they are staying with me (I.e. no sleeping in human beds, no pups on couches, ect.). I want to be sure that I am instilling the same rules you typically would. It would also be great to know any quirks they have and specific care instructions.
A typical day
Typically I start the morning with a walk and some playtime before settling in for the workday. Depending on the pups preferred feeding schedule, they will usually start the day with breakfast as well. There’s a great little park across the street that’s perfect for potty breaks and mid day breaks. There are also a few dog parks in the area for the more rambunctious and playful pups!

Availability
I work full time M-F 9am-5:30pm, but my work schedule is fairly flexible. My office respects a hybrid situation, so depending on the timeframe, I could work remote if necessary. I also have a car, so I could easily swing by during lunch breaks to take the pup out for a quick potty break and walk.
