**Vaxxed, boosted, and willing to wear mask whenever** I have petsit for cats and dogs for 2 decades, had dogs growing up, and have 2 cats and a dog now. I make friends with them quickly. Friends and clients often call me a dog or cat whisperer. I can help train dogs for basic commands, and my preferred method of training is clicker training and positive reinforcement, although of course I smoothly continue and reinforce any prior training. I am accustomed to taking dogs for both long and short walks - my average dog walk is my favorite 1.3 mile route. I am comfortable taking dogs to the park or driving them to the vet or other needed transportation. I also give lots of pets and cuddles to the animals who want those! I work part-time, remotely, which means I can be available for high-needs animals and will not have to be away from the home for long periods of time. I do well calming anxious dogs and coaxing out timid cats. I am familiar with administering medications (pills, ear drops, eye drops, flea/tick solution) - but not the pill-popping method for cats. I stay in contact with clients who ask for updates and photos while they are gone.
