Loving, stay-at-home dog mom
Pet care experience
I currently work from home and will be able to provide full attention to your pup! If desired, I can take your dog for walks, to the dog park, and more. I have a 1-year old Boston Terrier, who would also love to play with your dog! Lots of toys, treats, and soft surfaces for whatever your dog's needs and preferences are. Im already a dog mom, so I know exactly what goes into taking care of your baby and will love it like its my own! While I don't have backyard, my building has a pet-run, for convenient potty-breaks, and I live close to 3 different dog parks. I am also happy to provide any extra care, such as giving medications and continuing to train.

I booked a stay for my dog with Julia over Christmas and had a horrible experience. My 11-year-old Yorkie has stayed with other Rover sitters in the past and I've never experienced any issues, but from the minute I dropped him off at Julia's, the only contact I received was letting me know about issues he was supposedly causing (not the way I was planning to spend my holiday with family). Cincinnati was experiencing dangerous, historic low temperatures (-35 windchill) the first few days of his stay, so I proactively packed pee pads to handle any accidents during those days. According to Julie, he was let out constantly and they never took his eye off him, yet he was supposedly having 5-6 accidents a day and was keeping them up at night (even after temperatures warmed up). She asked me multiple questions about how to manage his accidents. If you're a Rover sitter, you should know the basics of how to take care of a dog. Towards the end of his stay, she informed me he had diarrhea and later noticed blood in his stool, which she diagnosed as giardia. I immediately sensed a problem and knew it was most likely caused by stress. Fortunately, my parents had arrived back in town a couple days before we got home, so I cut his stay with Julia short and had my mom pick him up. Julia had the audacity to accuse me of lying on my pet's profile and asked for compensation to repair her carpets. As a Rover sitter, shouldn't you be willing to accept the risk of pet accidents in your home and be fully equipped to handle them? Julia never followed up after our stay to check if my dog was okay (fortunately, he quickly bounced back as soon as he got home and has yet to have an accident in our home since), which leads me to believe she cares more about her carpet than the pets she is sitting. After our nightmare experience, I will be avoiding Rover for the foreseeable future.
Julia was a wonderful sitter for our cat!
Julia was so great! She treated Lucy like her own pet and took her with her to visit family, to the park, and on hikes. Julia sent pictures and Lucy looked so content. We couldn’t be happier with her care!
Julia took great care of my cat during his drop-in visits and was very respectful of my home in the process! She went above and beyond when unexpected issues popped up during the visit, which put me completely at ease. I would absolutely trust her to watch my cat again in the future, and completely recommend her to other pet parents!
