Extensive pet- and house-sitting experience over the last 7 years - respectful of your space and gladly welcome your pup into mine; medication-administering expert with both large and small dogs; all-time favorite doggo experience: downward-dog playful crouch with a wagging tail :) I am a mental health counseling grad student and have a part-time schedule that has some flexibility - usually home in the mornings, and depending on the day, am home by early evening. I am looking for potentially ongoing AND one-off opportunities to supplement my income while in school. I live in a house with a large fenced back yard that is perfect for play, sunbathing, and naps under the awning. Our neighborhood has lots of squirrels at which to bark and chase (they have a reputation for taunting, about which our dog Bear has mixed feelings). Bear is a super docile, friendly, never aggressive 5-year old Great Pyrenees that is more like the awkward kid in class that just wants more dog friends. He has playful spurts of energy on occasion, but is honestly asleep most of the day. I have 2 housemates that love dogs and will definitely lay on the extra loving when given the chance. I am happy to walk (and could maybe be convinced to run with) your doggo, but I also enjoy taking Bear to the nearby dog park to get in some social hours and get out some energy. I am looking for either ongoing schedules and/or one-off situations to supplement my grad-school existence, but happy to work with you!
