Pet care experience
I have owned and been around dogs all my life and thus I've grown up adoring these fuzzy four-legged beings. I have had the pleasure of working as a dog sitter/walker with a variety of dog breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have a lot of dog care experience in terms of walking dogs, playing with dogs, cleaning up after the fun is over (grooming, cleaning up messes etc.), and administering oral medication. Additionally, I am comfortable being assertive to dogs when it is necessary. My schedule is flexible and I am able to shape it around caring for your dog. Ultimately, I will love your dog like you do and I can provide the care, love, and attention that you want for your pet.

Julia was great. She provided updates and pictures throughout our dog's lengthy stay. She seems to be a real dog lover. I don't think our dog wanted to leave when we came to pick her up! We would definitely book with her again.

Julia is so kind and responsible and I would trust her with my pets any time! She has taken care of my dog and cat when my family has gone out of town many times (at least 5) over the last ~8 years, and we've always been super happy with her care. She has always made sure they were happy, clean, and well-fed. Julia has also kept her own dog very happy and well-exercised, and is very passionate about animal welfare.

I have no breed preferences. Please tell me a bit about your dog before I care for them. I would like to know about any daily routines, their personality (energy level, friendliness, anxieties), your pets food intake, favorite games, toys, and activities, as well as any other special care instructions (i.e. grooming instructions, diet restrictions, medications and their administration, physical injuries etc.)
A typical day
At my home there is room for a dog bed and/or crate. Dogs are welcome and able to play inside with toys or venture outside to the large yard. The outdoor space is perfect for a supervised romp in the grass, a game of fetch, and the obvious bathroom break. There are many beautiful walking spots close by to my home including Tryon Creek State Natural Area, Marshall Park, and Burlingame park. If your dog fancies a car ride we can take a 5-10 minute trip to many other gorgeous locations, including several different dog parks if your dog is into that. Any of these areas can be adapted to offer short strolls for a bit of exercise or longer more strenuous walks to tire your pup out.
