I’m a resident physician at Tulane who is taking some time off to pursue clinical research, giving me a lot more free time and energy to invest in your furry best friend! I recently got a mini bernedoodle pup named Clio this summer. She’s a ton of energy and absolutely loves to socialize and play with other dogs! We live in an apartment with a dog run on the roof (all apartment dogs are friendly as the building has strict policies on breeds and dogs being up to date on shots) but we also go on lengthy walks around the CBD neighborhood or to annunciation park or Audubon. When the weather is nice we also lounge on the balcony of my apartment. I also have experience with older dogs and dogs with chronic medical problems, such as diabetes and seizures. Our one schnauzer required insulin injections her last four years of life! While I know I’m only a human doctor, I feel very comfortable administering both oral medications as well as insulin injections and will ensure your pup remains safe and healthy! Of note, I work fridays so drop off for weekend stays after 5 PM is preferable, but please message me as often times I can make adjustments :)
