Pet care experience
I love all animals and own three dogs, one bunny, two cats that live outside, two horses, and a dozen chickens. I grew up on a farm and showed horses and beef in 4-H. I am a current 4-H leader and mom to two girls (ages 15 and 12). I love being outside and interacting with our pets. I have a part-time office job and work there three days a week during the day. My girls and husband are usually home when I am not. We have a small chihuahua/dachshund mix now (Lucy), a Yorkie mix puppy (Queenie) and a Goldendoodle puppy (Ruthie). We previously owned a Border Collie mix (Roxie). The dogs we had as a kid were cattle dogs. I would like to board small dogs. I am a very organized and reliable person. Your dog will be safe and well cared for with me.

Oh my goodness...we would give Juli a 10+ rating, if we could! Juli & her sweet family took amazingly great care of our 5 month old Goldendoodle puppy! We needed to board our Ruthie for 5 days, while we flew to WI for a funeral. In the past, we have boarded other dogs in kennels, which left the dogs with bare minimum care. But at Juli's home, Ruthie enjoyed a huge, beautiful backyard to run off her high energy. Ruthie played with Juli's 2 small dogs, which helped Ruthie to learn to socialize with other dogs. Juli & her daughters took Ruthie on long walks each day, which helped Ruthie to walk better on a leash. One of the sweetest things Juli did was to send us several photos of Ruthie at play & at rest each day, along with progress notes on Ruthie's care, walks & fun times. These photos were truly welcomed bright spots during a time of sadness for our family. When we picked Ruthie up, we could see that she would have easily stayed with Juli...there was a wonderful bond that formed between them in just those 5 days. We will definitely schedule Ruthie to stay with Juli whenever we need a safe, clean, fun place for her to stay...and we'll schedule Ruthie to stay with Juli again next year, just for fun, like a doggie summer camp! Thank you, Juli & family...you're WONDERFUL!!!
Juli is great! Highly recommend! We received several pictures each day of her visit with our skittish kitty while we were gone for a week. Our cat warmed up to Juli and we have picture proof! He’s so afraid of strangers usually. First time using Rover and had a great experience. Thank you!

Juli did a wonderful job checking in on my fur babies while I was out of town. She was so conscientious—thinking of questions important to their care (like which command tells them to return to their kennel). I knew their paws were well cared for by her, which truly gives my family peace of mind. I would rebook with her again and encourage you to do the same!
