I am an Army Veteran who is extremely responsive, caring and reliable. I would absolutely love the opportunity to care for your dog! I've been a professional dog walker/pet sitter/caretaker for companies in the past and even owned my own pet care business for a period of time. I have worked for an animal shelter and was able to acquire some veterinarian technician skills and experience. I have two dogs that both love playing with and making new 4-legged friends! Roscoe turns 3 February 2023 and Penny just turned 1 January 2023. They’re both rescues and they’re my world 💙💜🌏 *A heads up to pet parents who are first timers or aren’t aware* Rover takes 15% of what you are paying your sitter for their services. If you pay $200 for a booking, we would get $170. They’ve added a tipping feature (October 2021) through the app that most of the time just pays for the Rover fees, so we don’t even see the tip. I offer pickup and drop off services! 0-15 miles: $5 one way 15-25 miles: $10 one way 25-40 miles: $15 one way I have always enjoyed working with animals! I treat any animals that I take care of as if they're my own. I have experience with dog training and I’m more than willing to uphold and continue your dog’s training commands. I also enjoy hiking, walking, running and staying fit/active so I can keep your pup(s) in great shape 💪🏼 I am very flexible with hours and always in communication with the parent. You can trust that I will take pictures and videos of your animal and send daily updates for peace of mind ☮️ I have experience with dog behavior and with dog training. I’m also comfortable and capable of administering oral medication and injections. What I ask of pet parents: ~Your fur baby must get along with other dogs. I have a black lab mix pup (Roscoe 💙) and a lab/husky mix (Penny 💜) and they both love all two and four legged beings! ~Updated Veterinarian information, either through your pet’s Rover profile or provide directly to me. ~Bring enough food for your dog’s stay and provide feeding instructions. ~Please inform me of any allergies or dietary restrictions. I make homemade dog treats and my two love to share so we want everyone to be safe 🐾 ~If your dog is crate trained, please bring along. If they are not, it isn’t required as long as they are potty and house trained 😊 ~I may have other dogs being boarded during your pup’s stay. I tend to have no more than 4 dogs total including my two pups. I always practice safety and monitor dog’s behavior. When I leave the home and I’m boarding a non-crated pup, I will always crate my dogs. If all dogs are crate trained, they will all be secured when I leave the home. If you are not comfortable with other dogs being boarded during your dog’s stay, please let me know upfront and we can try to make special arrangements including a VIP rate.
