I currently run my own pet care business, which keeps me on the go during the day, but I still love having the opportunity to care for pets through Rover when my schedule allows! While I may not be home as often as I once was, I make sure to give every pet in my care plenty of attention, love, and quality time. Feel free to reach out to see if your dates line up with my availability — I’d be happy to help!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have a spacious, fenced-in backyard where your dog can enjoy plenty of fresh air, exercise, and potty breaks. If your pup prefers leash walks, I’m more than happy to accommodate that too! Crates are available if needed, and I maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment — this includes regularly disinfecting food bowls, crates, toys, and any shared spaces. I also use a Wyze Pet Camera to check in when I need to step away briefly, ensuring your pet is always monitored. As a Fear-Free Certified caregiver, I take things at your pet’s pace to make sure they feel safe and comfortable as we build trust together. Please note that I do care for multiple pets from different families, along with my own dogs, depending on the schedule. I’m always happy to discuss who else might be staying during your booking — just ask!

Information Juel D. would like to know about your pet

Before any booking, I like to learn the important basics about your pet — such as their feeding schedule, medications, and potty routines. I also want to know their personal preferences, quirks, and daily habits so I can keep their routine as close to home as possible. Please let me know if your pet is comfortable being crated, as I may need to safely crate them when I step out. I do have multiple crates available to fit various sizes. I’d also love to know about their personality! Are they shy, energetic, or picky about certain things? Do they have any fears, favorite toys, or calming routines? The more details you can share, the better I can make their stay safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. Feel free to mention anything you think is important — no detail is too small!

A typical day

As a small business owner in the pet care field, my days are busy and active — which means I may be in and out throughout the day. When I am home, your pet will enjoy supervised backyard time, potty breaks, play sessions, and plenty of love and attention. If I need to step out for pet-sitting, dog-walking, or errands, your dog will be safely crated (if they are crate-trained) or separated in a secure, pet-safe area to ensure their safety and comfort. I also use a Wyze Pet Camera so I can check in on them when I’m away. Even with my busy schedule, I make it a priority to give every pet individual care, cuddles, and enrichment when I’m home. Every day may look a little different depending on my workload, but your pet’s safety and happiness are always part of the plan!

Pet care experience

👋 Hi there! I’m so glad you stopped by. My love for animals started early—I began working as a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic right after high school. From there, I earned my Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology and continued as a veterinary technician at the same clinic. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. My background in veterinary medicine helps me recognize any signs of illness or injury quickly, so I can keep you informed and ensure your pet stays safe and healthy while you’re away. I now own and operate my own professional pet care business, Turbo Tails Pet Care, where I offer dedicated, personalized care to every pet as if they were my own. You can rest easy knowing your pets are in caring and capable hands! Check out Turbo Tails Pet Care on Facebook for more! 😊
