I've been a nurse most of my life, so nurturing, even those who can't talk, is in my genes. I have two dogs of my own, a comical female greyhound and a sweet female lab-mix. Between my daughter and I, we've had 4 other greyhounds over the years. We both worked and volunteered at the Escarosa Greyhound Rescue prior to the owner passing away. Twice a month I stop in and "visit" all the dogs and cats at the animal shelter. We also have 7 cats at home, most of which were strays. We utilize the services of the Barbara Grice Memorial Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic for our strays, as we are long-time proponents of animal populations control. We live on a small farm with a horse, donkey, chickens, turkeys, peacock and guineas. My daughter is the primary caretaker on our little farm, but I help when needed. I am a single, healthy, non-smoker, non-social drinker, safe driver (Prius), conscientious voter, blood donor, organ donor, homeowner, with a credit score of 813 as of 08/2017. I am ACLS/BLS certified and have my CCP. I've lived in Escambia County since 2000.
