I've seen pups being born, I held my cat when she died, and I've had either a dog or cat for all but three years of my life. In my teens I worked at the Pet Food Cottage in San Anselmo, in my thirties the Marina Pet Hospital, and in my forties as a volunteer dog walker at Maddie's. For the last fourteen years I was the proud, loving, active mother to our Border Collie mix, Shorty. But he died, and while we're not ready to hurriedly replace him...it would be so nice to have a dog around again. We have a 25' by 35' backyard with lots of anise plants to poop or pee on. A sunny deck with comforters.1 Block to a public field and 8 blocks to McLaren Park..where dogs can swim! I have a broad knowledge of all things canine. I've been to numerous dog shows, read about, watch, and learn as much as I can from both dogs and their companions.
