Spoiling pups is what I do best!

Pet care experience

Please read my entire profile--hours and prices are at the bottom. I always respond to messages within an hours, usually within minutes. I offer dog care for SMALL BREEDS ONLY, (22 pounds and under) in my home right along side my little terrier, Tzena. My specialty is older and special needs doggies. I retired early, so we are never in a hurry, and my furry friends are one of my greatest joys. There is no shortage of hugs and kisses. We have a nice house with a large privacy fenced back yard and all pets can go out an time he/she wants for a clean, safe and supervised day of play. They love to sniff around the flower beds or chase each other around the yard.. I love taking pictures of the pups, so I send regular photo updates and notes on your baby's progress. Remember, he/she is on vacation, too. I am home at all times unless I run to the grocery store, and I never leave any animal outside unsupervised. I previously worked for an in-home dog care service so I have played with all sizes and breeds of dogs and truly love them all. I have been trained in animal CPR by the American Red Cross and can administer oral medications, eye medications and insulin injections. You can feel secure in the knowledge that your pet will be well and happy in your absence and there are no children here to worry or pester. My home is calm, but never boring. I can't stand to see a dog get bored when there are so many fun things we can do. Your dog will have complete freedom to roam my house, just like at home, however, I for all the dogs protection, I do crate at night only. A dog psychologist once said, " Dogs have a keen sense of fairness". That quote has stuck with me and I think it is key to gaining a dogs trust. I limit the number of little ones so each little one gets plenty of attention. I only accommodate small breeds. Dogs must be housebroken, and be a minimum of 12 months old. Males must be neutered. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON FLEA PROTECTION. note: According to the manufacturer, Sentinel is not for flea protection and therefore is not acceptable. My human hours are 8:30am to 7:00pm. My rate for 24 hours is $30. for small dogs only. I also offer day-care for $25. per day from 8:30am to 6:00 pm. Any dog that must wear diapers for any reason, marking, incontinence, etc, will be $35. per day. Drop off and pick up times can be anywhere from 8:30 a.m., to 7:00 p.m. Whatever time you drop your little one off, after the 24th hour, it will be extra. So, I will need to know what time you expect to pick them up, so I can give you an accurate quote. Nothing is written in stone, so if you come back a day early you will get that day refunded. Or if you need to stay a day longer, no problem, that will just give us an extra day to play and you can just add a day to the bill. . All I ask is that you let me know ahead of time so I can make plans. Thanks for reading my ad. Hope to meet you soon. Judy. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs, and had dogs all my life. They all have their own personalities, just like people. I don't believe in yelling or any physical punishment. Dogs usually know what you expect of them by the tone of your voice and more times than not, they just want to please you. Wish my kids were that good! LOL Meet my pets My Tzena is a 14 pound terrier pup who loves to playing with the other little ones who visit with us. We have a "nursery" just for the little ones and Tzena loves overnight guests.. About my yard I have a large privacy fenced, grassy backyard, with a couple of trees. Nothing is "off-limits" to the dogs-they are free to "snoop". I am always with them when they are outside--I love to watch them roam and wonder what they are thinking. I have the gated area double fenced for their protection. My experience administering medication I used to have 2 toy poodles with seizures, and they both got a pill every day. Very easy if you know how. I also watch several dogs who have allergies, so they get a couple of pills during the day. I have trained by the American Red Cross in animal CPR and I have recently learned to administer insulin injections. I believe in being prepared for any emergency and have a fire extinguisher and have familiarized myself with it's use. To me these pups are babies and I take great care.

Judy was great with Chevy and Charlie. They enjoyed the time that they got to spend with her and the other little friends that they made. She gave them so much attention. We will definitely look you up if we are ever in Texas again. Thank you.

Judy was awesome! She was so understanding & comforting about my feeling anxious about leaving my dog.Judy sent pics & updates. Judy has a kind gentle heart and you immediately feel at ease the second you meet her. My dog was happy when I returned. She even got him to eat in my absence. I highly recommend Judy! Just wait until you see her doggie nursery, adorable! Will definitely be back for future stays.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! She's the only person outside of family I feel comfortable watching our baby. Her updates are stellar and our vacations are worry free!! Plus she caters to our dogs needs and totally gets her personality (cause our dog is special haha). I also really love the fact that she only accepts small dogs!

I love all breeds of dogs and I get a kick out of their personalities and little individual habits. They make me happy and I can keep them happy, too. I'm afraid I can't keep Pugs due to the amount of hair they shed.

A typical day

Your dog's sleeping arrangement I do prefer to crate at night only. Most little ones like my crates because I have big comfy beds and blankets and stuffed animals in them. They are left open during the day and I frequently find one napping in one of the crates during the day. My own dog prefers a crate over an open bed. Time I'll spend with your dog I retired early and stay home most of the time. The dogs are with me all the time. They are never left outside unattended. I interact with the "kids" all day as they are part of my life here at home. There are no children here to pester the dogs and my home is calm and comfortable. Sometimes dogs get bored too, just like we do, so that's when people like me come in handy. We can entertain them just like they were children or we might go for a ride to dog supermarket and browse.
