Best Friend to your dog

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Judy, and I am a pet sitter. Growing up, dogs were always a large and important part of my family. As the second oldest in the family, I was responsible, in large part, for the care of the dogs. For the past several years, I have been taking care of my sister's dogs and the dogs of some of my friends on a consistent basis. The care of the dogs involved care during the day as well as some overnight stays, and stays that lasted for up to a week. In addition to the everyday care of the dogs, I was also responsible for giving medication to one of the dogs in my care. I proved to be a competent care giver to the dogs, as well as a responsible house guest. I also have experience with small animals as I was once the owner of a chinchilla and two guinea pigs. I had to administer medication to one of my guinea pigs as well. I was a volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society for seven years, and also completed and received a certificate in a course that qualifies me as a Vet Assistant and an Animal Care Professional. I am reliable, flexible, dependable, and patient. I look forward to having the opportunity to provide the companionship, care, and attention that your dog deserves. . Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I was a child. Growing up, dogs were always an important part of our family, and more often than not, we had two dogs at a time. As the second oldest in my family, and because I was such a dog lover, I was one of the primary care giver to our dogs as soon as I was old enough to do so. I cannot remember a time when dogs were not part of my family as I was growing up. Presently, I am a care giver to my sister's dog rather frequently, as her job takes her out of town fairly often. I do not own any dogs of my own at this time, because unfortunately, they are not allowed in the condo building where I live. I do own a cat, however. My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable giving medication. I recently completed and received a certificate in an animal care course that qualifies me to work as a veterinary assistant and in animal care as well.

Judy was absolutely wonderful with Dean, my Goldendoodle. He's 12 yrs. old and needs a little extra help and care. In the past, I have taken Dean to be boarded and have regretted it every time. He'd come back unhappy, a mess, and exhausted. This is the first time I have used Rover and Judy so I was a little hesitant. When I came home after four days with Judy, Dean was happy and smiling. He didn't want her to leave. I will definitely book her again. She is a Godsend for my baby!

Judy is *wonderful*! She is a lovely person and loves the dogs, who took to her immediately, and is very conscientious in looking after our babies. She gave us an update of how they were doing and we could tell they were very content when we got home.

Absolutely fantastic! First time I ever had someone sit for my dog in my home. I felt completely comfortable with her in her my home and felt like my dog was extremely well taken care of.

Information Judy C. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if the dog has any kind of medical conditions and if it requires any medication. I would also like to know how it gets along with other animals, dogs and cats in particular. Also if the dog gets along with children as well. Is it comfortable going places in the car, and just going to different places in general. I really don't have any breed preferences, but I would rather not sit for the really huge breeds.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog I would plan on spending most of day with the dog/dogs. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I am willing to do additional tasks as well, if need be.
