Centrally located to Raleigh, Cary, Holly Springs, Fuwuay-Varina, North Carolina, I have owned and loved cats and dogs from kitty and puppy stages through their golden years up to their journey over the rainbow bridge. When I commit to a pet it is for life, just like my grown children and now grandchildren. Dogs especially can sense someone who cares for them, they know a stranger who intends harm, mine do. I once read a sign that said don't trust anyone your dog doesn't like, there is some truth to that for sure. My approach to new encounters will be gentle and respectful by letting the dog or cat come to me, smell my scent, and share their space when they feel comfortable before walking them so expect me to take time with each pet. Thank you.

Most important to me before dog sitting is your dog's individual approach to strangers. If I know how they receive strangers then I can approach with care, allow them time to relate to me, and reduce the anxiety they may feel while the owner is away. Breed preference are labs, however, we have owned may breeds over the years so as long as the owner discloses any safety concerns I am open to all fur-babies.
A typical day
Taking pets walking in their community is important, they are more comfortable with the the sights and sounds, however, if a client would like their dog to go on a nature walk Raleigh and Cary have many Greenways to explore, but additional charges due to mileage, liability disclaimers, and hour rates. I am open to this opportunity but it will under defined terms for your dogs' safety and my personal legal obligations. Playing ball, tug-a-war, and other games are welcomed just let me know what your fur-baby prefers.
