We luv',m all...big and small!
Pet care experience
Please note: Due to covid... I will be doing all meet & greets outside & trying to keep the 6 ft distance. ThxU for your consideration! Also, I cannot accept a dog without you filling in their profile info to ensure they will be a good fit... ThxU We have a large yard in Bloomington with a kennel running the side of my house where if the weather is nice they can wonder into and out of the house on their own... winter time they have to be let out by me :) I've babysat off and on for friends and others... I do have cats, so if ur dog is not cat friendly it may not work... I've been around animals living & growing up in a small town in ND... I've had many domestic pets and was a wildlife rehabber. I'm currently retired All animals to me are precious and have no reason not to be luv'd to the fullest! About this sitter: I'm retired from the Airlines and also from Homeland Security... now is the time to enjoy my first luv which are the animals! I luv all animals, domestic and wildlife... Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog/animal lover ever since I was a child.. With that I have had a lot of different experiences with all types of dogs/cats/birds & wildlife.. There isn't a breed I probably haven't had... Love them all...but, the bullies really tear @ my heart! Had a mastiff that was definitely the love of my life! Meet my pets I do accept dogs from diff families, if they know each other and only if the owners/pet parents feel ok w/this... otherwise, it's mainly from one owner at a time... I put more than one in case they are related of friends who may be going somewhere together and know how their dogs interact. My whole yard is NOT fenced...but, I have a large fenced kennel area along one side of my house... About my yard I have a huge yard that I take them out into... if they are runners, they will need a long leash...but, if I find out they listen, they get taken off. If nice weather, they can come and go from the house to the huge 6 ft high kennel out of one side of my porch... it runs along one side of my house. I do have nine mile creek below my back yard...but, normally do not let them roam there. My experience administering medication Yes, with all the animals I've had thru out the yrs, seems when they get older, they've needed meds. .. not crazy about giving shots, but have done it... currently not taking in hospice type animals anymore, as my health is not the best to give the extra time needed, so no special needs dogs at this time as I do not feel I can do them justice.
Reviews
Our Harley girl absolutely LOVES going to Judy's. I would highly recommend her to anyone :)
Judi was wonderful! Our two got along well with her and her own dogs. We picked them up happy and relaxed. She knows dogs. She has 4 of her own and so she had six dogs, six personalities to coordinate. She loves them all like her own. Without question we'd use her again.
We absolutely love Judi! She is wonderful with our dog Tui and such a joy to communicate with. We have used Judi twice in the last 6 months and each time felt comfortable knowing that our dog is in great hands. Not only does she send us videos updating us on Tui's stay and give my daughters treats upon pickup 😊 , but our dog never even looked back at us when we dropped her off the second time. She loves Judi just as much as we do!
We dropped our pet Gizmo at Judi's place and he came back the same happy dog we left with. Typically he comes back all stressed when we leave him at the larger commercial daycares. First time we tried someone from Rover and Judi was perfect for Gizmo. Sent us pictures of him, and could tell he was in good hands. Next time we are in the cities we will look her up again.

Information Judi G. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences.. But I would like to know what your expectations are outside of the events I have stated. And would like to know any info you feel that I need to know about your dogs unique self. What I'd like to know: *Is your dog/cat up to date on their vaccines? If not, is there a medical reason? *Is your dog crate trained? (I prefer not to use, but, will if it warrants) *Is your dog house trained? (Pee pads don't count) *Is your dog good with cats? ( *Is Your dog a fence jumper? *Does your dog try to dart through doors? *Does your dog resource guard toys or food? (Saying yes will not disqualify your dog to stay here, we just need to know beforehand for everyone's safety, but, we normally do feed separately) *Does your dog have separation anxiety? I also advise you bring some of his/her dog food as we all know they cannot just chg food overnite... also, if they have a favorite toy or an old shirt of yours that would be comforting for them. I do require they have Frontline Plus or some other flea/tic meds on them and that they have had there rabies shot. Cannot take unneutered males anymore as I find, even if house trained, they want to mark?? could be because I have a male & he is neutered??
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I normally walk around Bloomington neighborhood or go down to Moir park along the creek. I Do not take HIGH Energy dogs if I have more than one here or seniors... not fair to all... I will tell you, they do get a bit spoiled... I've had some dogs not want to go back home?! And, I've had repeats, like maybe once or twice a yr and I've been told they start crying as soon as their owner turns on my street... ( like a dog does when you take him to the dog park... so excited!) That makes me feel good when told that... :) Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog can sleep w/the rest of us... or wherever he or you prefer or state. Time I'll spend with your dog I'm retired, therefore I'm mainly home w/my pets... they follow me around and sleep w/me at night... we go out for walks during the day or if they have a license, we may even go to the dog park if u think they would like it...(am finding out, I can no longer walk the power house dogs, but, will try to ensure they do get their energy off)
