From childhood, dogs have been in my life. Since my very first Aketa named Sparky all the way to the two adorable pit bulls I have now (named Remus and Juno, my Roman babies), I have been an enthusiastic dog-lover. People bring their dogs through the drive-thru where I work quite often, and I never miss an opportunity to start a conversation about their handsome/beautiful baby. My partner works in animal care and I've had the opportunity to come in and help out, giving the pups some playtime and cleaning up after them, feeding and medicating them, etc. I work mornings at Starbucks so I'm available in the afternoon/evenings, but if you need me to stay over a longer period, that can be arranged with advance notice.
