Pet care experience
I used to be a police officer for over ten years but I traded that life to work dogs and cats full time. I truly have a love for animals and I decided to begin a career and hopefully grow my own business. I am easygoing but am stern when needed. I have had previous pets in my past from pit bulls to cats. I have training experience so I can offer sessions if you are looking for that as well. I currently own a couple of cats I saved from the shelter that are super easy going and cool. I have rescued and fostered in the past so they are used to seeing new faces. I also have my own crate if needed for any boarding. I look forward to servicing you and taking care of your dogs and cats! Thank you

Juan has dropped in on our two cats on multiple days when we have been away several times—once for three weeks. He’s a great communicator and keeps our kitties well fed and cared for. We trust him and strongly recommend him!
I have no doubt Juan is a kind man who loves pets. I have two cats that he came and fed for two weeks. One of them hid the whole time. While they are both shy, this is the first time one of them completely hid from a sitter. I had arranged for him to take care of the plants, and he did a fair job but not great. The site time stamp indicated he didn’t stay a full hour for some visits but he explained Rovers system is inaccurate when it comes to time information

Information Juan D. would like to know about your pet
Is she/he friendly with dogs/cats? Our home always has a dog(s) that I board daily so he/she needs to have some level of being social. I do separate dogs if necessary but I need to know in advance bc I only have one room I can have them in and sometimes it is booked ahead of time. Is she/he have a good temperament? Sorry but I do not take on any un-spayed/un-neutered dogs under any circumstances for safety purposes bc I have other dogs in the house. My personal preferences are senior dogs; I love them dearly. And I love pits! Any big large dogs are more than welcome to my home! Believe it or not they are sometimes the best behaved. At the end of the day, I love any dog that comes through. Please let me know if the dog has any allergies/illness/disease/weird quirks/ food aggressive/ aggressive in general. Etc.
A typical day
I go on dog walks throughout the day so if he’s sociable or needs socializing I can gladly take him/her along to learn. I generally don’t crate dogs unless absolutely necessary or requested by the owners
