We started watching dogs on Rover because we wanted our only child Scruff to make new friends. We were also considering getting a second dog and thought this would be a great way to see if that would be a good idea. We have met a lot of great pet parents and have watched wonderful pups to date. At this time we have decided to watch only repeat customers. Lily loved her stay with Juan...and Scruffy! They took her in at a moments notice when my holiday plans for her fell through. Kept me updated and sent pictures. This was my first time to use Rover.com and I'm sold on it...and Juan.
My dog seems to ignore people and other dogs equally. Thus it surprised me that when I brought my dog for his second visit at Juan's he was over-excited with joy to realize where we are. He could not wait to get in to greet Juan, Danette and Scruffy. I was in awe. My dog clearly loves to stay at Juan's. Now I am always worry-free while travelling as I know my bestie is in the best care possible!
Juan and his wife, are the nicest people and they took care and loved my little Pom when I was gone for 5 days. They sent me pics of my Pom everyday and she looked like she was having so much fun with them and their dog Scruffy that I even told them she may not want to come home. What a good feeling to know you don't have to worry about your dog while away. They were so loving toward her and cared for her so well I highly recommend them for a dog sitter. Scruffy is a super nice and gentle dog that I didn't have to worry about him with my little Pom either. I could go on and on about my experience, I appreciate their warm loving home and woul use them again .
